STONEYBATTER FAMILY PRACTICE TEAM

​Dr Catherine Mullan studied medicine at Trinity College Dublin and qualified in 1991.  She trained in General Practice on the Royal College of Surgeons GP scheme in Dublin and went on to set up practice here in Stoneybatter in 1995.  Dr Catherine has a particular interest in Dermatology and Women's Health and is a trainer on the North Dublin GP Training scheme. 



​Dr Deirdre Coyle studied medicine at the Royal College of Surgeons and qualified in 1999. She did her GP training with the Midlands Health Board and qualified in 2003.  Dr Deirdre worked with us from 2003 to 2004 and then spent a year working in Brisbane, Australia.  She returned to work at the Practice in January 2005.

Dr Deirdre Caulfield graduated from Medical school in Galway in 1989. She worked in St James Hospital Dublin and following this completed the Royal College of Surgeons General Practice Scheme where she and Dr Catherine first met. Dr Deirdre now divides her time between General Practice and drug treatment.

Our Practice Nurse, Mrs Niamh Byrnes  has many years experience in Primary Care, Midwifery and at the Practice she has a wide range of responsibilities, including taking bloods, doing immunisations, chronic disease management and many other health promotion interventions such as smoking cessation and travel advice.



Mrs Sharon Duffy is our Practice Manager and has been with us since the very beginning in 1995. 
 
​Ms Mary Edwards has also been with us since the early days, Ms Avril Hackett joined a few years later and Ms Leanne Behan joined most recently and together they  are our Practice Secretaries.
