The aim of the Practice is to offer quality care to individuals and families within our area through our dedicated team of General Practitioners, Nursing and Administration staff.
How do I get an appointment?
The surgery is open Monday to Friday. We operate a pre-book appointment system and also a Walk In Clinic three times a week.
Appointments can be booked either more than 48 hours in advance or there are some ‘book on the day’ appointments for more urgent cases.
PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL THE SURGERY FOR AN APPOINTMENT. WE DO NOT BOOK APPOINTMENTS BY EMAIL. ALL APPOINTMENTS SHOULD BE MADE BY TELEPHONE OR IN PERSON AT THE RECEPTION DESK.
PLEASE ALSO NOTE ABOUT EMAILS:-
A) THEY ARE NOT CHECKED EVERY DAY
B) WE CANNOT ENTER INTO ANY TYPE OF CONSULTATION VIA EMAIL SO PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL YOUR MEDICAL CONCERNS, THEY REQUIRE A FACE TO FACE CONSULTATION.

PLEASE NOTE THE FRIDAY PM WALK-IN CLINIC WILL CEASE FROM FRIDAY 3rd MAY 2019
Check-ups, repeat prescriptions and routine consultations should be dealt with by way of our regular appointment system.
Please be aware that waiting times in these clinics can be long and patients are seen on a 'first come, first served' basis.

Monday to Friday mornings 8-30 - 12.00
Monday to Friday afternoons 2-00-5.00
Prescriptions, sick notes, forms and letters
You can order your prescription IN PERSON using the prescription re-order form at the surgery but we will need 48 hours notice to prepare them before they can be collected. We encourage all patients with repeat prescriptions to use the prescription re-order form which will be issued to them. This ensures that prescription prescribing is streamlined and you are not given medications that you would not use. This helps to cut down on wastage and costs.
Alternatively, you can e mail your prescription request to firstname.lastname@example.org Requests by e mail must be made before 11am on the day of request and will require 72 hours to process. Please do not request extra medications other than those already prescribed. If you need other medications, this would require an appointment with the GP. This is purely a repeat prescription facility and other queries will not be dealt with here.
Other forms and letters such as Medical Card forms and sick notes need to be requested in person at the surgery Reception desk and also require up to one week's notice to prepare before they can be collected.
