During the Covid 19 pandemic, please read the following Important Notices :

 Appointments

Please do not attend the surgery without prior arrangement.
If you are given an appointment, please wait in your car and phone the practice on arrival. If you do not come by car, please phone the practice on arrival and wait outside. 

When you phone the surgery, our reception staff will ask if you have any symptoms of Covid 19 or have any other risk factors for the virus, ( such as recent travel outside of Ireland).

They will then book a slot for a telephone consultation or a face to face consultation with the GP or nurse.

If a face to face or video consultation is felt to be necessary by the GP, this will be arranged as required.

At all times, please follow the following precautions:

1) Maintain social                  distance  of 2m

 2) Practice hand washing
​    and cough and sneeze
​    etiquette 
      
 3) Please wear a mask           when attending the           surgery
 














 



 If you have symptoms            

 If you are suffering from any of the following respiratory symptoms - fever, cough, sore throat or shortness of breath, please stay at home, do not go to work or school and do not come to the surgery.

 Please phone the surgery instead and we will answer any concerns you may have and advise on what you should do over the phone.

 Please self - isolate if you have any of the above symptoms and wait for advice.

​Covid Vaccinations

We are currently vaccinating in line with the HSE guidelines clearly defined sub - groups as outlined below:
 - over 85 years
 - 80-84 years
 - 75-79 years
 - 70-74 years
    


Currently this practice is participating in the HSE over 70’s covid vaccination programme.

If you are over 70 you will be contacted by our nurse to arrange an appointment.

This practice has also agreed to take part in vaccination of the very high risk and high risk categories.

This programme has not started yet and we have not received any vaccines for this category.

If you fulfil the criteria for either of the above lists we will contact you to arrange an appointment.

All updates regarding the vaccine can be found on the HSE website or on the news.

Please do not ring the surgery to check if you are on this list or to ask about being placed on the list.
